From 1998 to 2008, Poole Fire Protection served as the primary fire protection consultant for the ConocoPhillips Petroleum Company's seven-building campus located in Bartlesville, OK. Poole Fire Protection was awarded the contracts following a competitive bidding process.

Poole Fire Protectio's fire protection engineers have been responsible for designing system improvements along with performing quarterly, semiannual and annual testing of the water supply system including fire pumps per the applicable NFPA documents.

The water supply system oversight has included testing of the existing water supplies including four fire pumps that protect five of the campus buildings. As part of the process, Poole Fire Protection is responsible for determining if the facility's overall fire protection system operates adequately.

Over the course of this contract, Poole Fire Protection has identified areas where the existing system failed to perform properly. Improvements to the system were designed and implemented. CAD documents were generated depicting the existing piping layout and modifications made.

Poole Fire Protection also performed hydraulic calculations, detailed project specifications, estimated costs, assisted with the selection of qualified bidders and assisted with awarding the bid. Firm representatives performed construction management throughout the installation procedure and final acceptance of the work completed. All the NFPA 25 requirements for the fire pump testing were covered during the final acceptance testing.
